Receta de 'delicioso' latte de calabaza con especias
Los lattes de calabaza con especias son una bebida otoñal muy popular.
Pumpkin spice lattes are a hugely popular autumnal drink
As the season turns, cafés across the country begin rolling out their autumnal menus, frequently featuring the ever-popular pumpkin spice latte. Yet regularly treating yourself to these beverages can prove quite costly, with prices commonly surpassing £5 a cup.
For those keen to savour these indulgent drinks without breaking the bank, crafting them in your own kitchen is a far more economical alternative to visiting your nearest Starbucks. The culinary specialists at Good Food have revealed a straightforward recipe, noting: "Get cosy with a pumpkin spice latte, perfect for cold autumn and winter nights.
With ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin flavours, it's a real treat." The recipe has proved a hit amongst enthusiasts of the beverage, with one fan proclaiming it "absolutely delicious".
Meanwhile, another reviewer commented: "First time making this. I've never tried a pumpkin-spiced latte, but I liked the sound of it. I recently made pumpkin pie, which was new for me also.
This latte reminded me of the pie, it shares a lot of the same ingredients with the puree, ground ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. "The drink is pleasant and has a mellow flavour.
Some people might like it sweeter and could add sugar etc. I'll make this again in the future."
Ingredients:
- 30ml of espresso, or any strong coffee
- 250ml of milk, any will work
Method
Begin by placing the pumpkin purée into a large heatproof glass or mug, before incorporating the spices and espresso or strong coffee. Gently warm the milk in a saucepan over a low heat until it begins to steam and froth.
Transfer it into your chosen glass or mug, spooning over any remaining froth. Give it a good stir to combine everything together, then finish with a dusting of cinnamon or pumpkin spice before serving.
