I Went To The US Open & These Are The 4 Must-Have Cocktails You NEED To Try

The US Open sells a wide variety of cocktails featuring vodka, tequila, champagne, and more.

By Cellar Editors · 1d ago · United States · 3 min ·
  • The most iconic drink is the Honey Deuce, which combines Grey Goose vodka with lemonade and raspberry liqueur.
  • Other notable cocktails include the IHG Watermelon Slice and Moët Serve.

The food served at the US Open includes viral dishes like caviar-topped chicken nuggets and premium steak sandwiches. But the true stars of the US Open are the specialty cocktails offered by the tournament’s sponsors.

In the stadiums, at pop-ups, and at drink stands scattered across the grounds, you can find plenty of bright, refreshing drinks perfect for courtside sipping. Here are some of the best things you can drink at the US Open this year.

The Honey Deuce

The most popular cocktail at the US Open is, without question, the Honey Deuce. Since 2007, Grey Goose has served the iconic drink at the tournament.

And attendees ordered nearly 750,000 of them last year alone. The drink is simple, with a combination of Grey Goose vodka, lemonade, and raspberry liqueur.

But it’s the signature garnish that makes this drink so special: three skewered balls of honeydew melon top every cocktail.

IHG Watermelon Slice

One of the most exciting cocktails doesn’t come from an alcohol sponsor—it comes from IHG Hotels and Resorts. The official hotel partner of the US Open debuted its own signature cocktail last year, and it’s officially back in 2026.

The Watermelon Slice is a spritz that starts with Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut. It’s combined with elderflower liqueur, watermelon juice, and lime, then garnished with a watermelon wedge and served in a tennis ball-esque collectible cup.

Compared to the Honey Deuce, the Watermelon Slice is lighter and less sweet, making it a more refreshing option for summer heat.

Ace Paloma

Dobel is the US Open’s official tequila sponsor, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy it at the tournament.

You can find some special cocktails in select locations, but the brand’s signature drink available across the grounds is the Ace Paloma. On paper, it doesn’t look too different from your typical Paloma: tequila, grapefruit soda, and lime (the US Open version also gets a black salt rim). But what really sets the Ace Paloma apart is the tequila itself.

Dobel uses its Diamante Cristalino, a blend of aged tequilas that’s double-filtered for a clear, smooth finish that’s perfect for sipping or mixing.

Moët Serve

Moët & Chandon first became the US Open’s official Champagne in the early 2010s and returned to the tournament in 2024. Aside from enjoying the brand’s Champagne on its own or in a mimosa, you can also try the Moët Serve.

The main ingredient is Moët Ice Impérial, a Champagne created specifically to be enjoyed over ice. At the Open, it’s served with fresh lime in custom packaging inspired by a tennis ball canister.
