The new location is also taking over the former home of beloved Northern Chicken, which closed its doors in early 2024 after seven years downtown. So, if you’ve been missing a chicken spot on this busy strip, this new addition may just hit the spot.

Wild Wing is known for its Canadian-raised chicken wings and more than 100 flavour options, along with a sports bar-style atmosphere. As for the flavours, options range from dill pickle, maple BBQ, and spicy jerk to hot honey and spicy Italian, with plenty more than we could possibly rattle off here.

Wild Wing first opened in Sunderland, Ont., in 1999 and has since grown into a franchise with more than 100 locations across Canada. Will you be checking out this new spot for chicken wings in Edmonton? Let us know in the comments.
