The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Opens Two Locations in Bakersfield, California
Local fans of the freshly made cuisine of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill will now have two choices in Bakersfield where they can indulge.

The highly successful name in fast-casual dining has began trading new locations at 9815 Panama Lane in the Old River Ranch shopping center and 3915 Rosedale Highway in Rosedale Crossing. The two locations are owned by Bakersfield native, Gurshaan Sidhu, a 19-year-old entrepreneur and law student who saw both a business opportunity and a way to share some of his favorite meals based on classic Greek cuisine.

Introduce our community to food that I genuinely love,” stated Sidhu. “I’ve always wanted to build something meaningful in the city where I grew up, and this concept checks every box. It offers fresh, healthier options without sacrificing savor, and I think people are going to be excited to have something new and different.”
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is known for its diverse menu rooted in the Mediterranean diet, offering customizable options such as rice bowls, fresh salads, and pita wraps with a variety of proteins including gyro meat and salmon. Signature items include made-to-order Feta Fries, house-made dips, and desserts like baklava ice cream and rice pudding.
Beyond dine-in service, the new Bakersfield locations offer Mediterranean-style catering for corporate events, community gatherings. Family celebrations, with build-your-own gyro stations, souvlaki skewers, traditional sides, and desserts, all designed to deliver a full Greek dining experience. The two new locations provide convenient options for guests across the community, offering flexibility for a range of occasions.
Panama Lane, which seats 45 guests in a 2,200-square-foot space, is located near residential neighborhoods that’s home to many families. Meanwhile, the Rosedale Crossing venue, with 55 seats in 2,500 square feet, is in a more industrial locale and is very popular as a business lunch spot for meetings and social gatherings. Together, the locations grow the brand’s reach while making it easier for guests to enjoy accessibility to fresh Mediterranean food throughout Bakersfield.
