Quick meringue cups with mascarpone and chocolate

If you happen to have guests over but aren't sure how to make a delicious after-dinner treat, here's a quick and simple recipe for a delicious and irresistible single-serving dessert that everyone will love.

Ingredients:

  • 500g mascarpone
  • 250g sugar
  • 300g dark chocolate
  • 3 large eggs
  • 35g butter
  • 1 small glass of Marsala
  • 100g fresh liquid cream Dark chocolate flakes or drops to taste
  • 5 meringues

Preparing the cups

To prepare this dessert, first melt the dark chocolate together with the butter. Once well combined, add the whipping cream heated in a separate saucepan and let it cool.

In a stand mixer or with an electric whisk, beat the egg yolks and sugar until frothy, then add the mascarpone and Marsala, mix everything together, and pour a small amount into the chocolate cream, mixing everything together.

Assemble the cups by placing the crumbled meringues at the base, and alternating the different creams on top, one layer at a time, and finally another sprinkling of meringues.
