The BEST Frozen Margarita Recipe (Sweet AND Strong!)
- 1 cup tequila silver (blanco)
- ½ cup orange liqueur (triple sec, la belle, grand marnier)
- 1 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice
- 1 cup simple syrup
- 8 cups ice
- Optional garnishes: margarita salt for glass rims (lime slices or wedges)
- Set out a blender. Combine the tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup in the blender. Carefully add 8 cups of ice cubes.
- Cover the blender jar and purée until very smooth.
- Optional Salt Garnish: Place a small amount of simple syrup in a shallow dish. Dip the rims of the glasses in the simple syrup, then dipped them in margarita salt.
- Pour the margarita recipe into the glasses, add a lime slice, and serve immediately!
