Recipe for a tasty and easy beef stew
Gardianne is a Camargue stew that is usually made with bull meat; it's a bit difficult to find this meat, but you can replace it with beef... Very appetizing!
Ingredients · Servings 2
- 1 kg of beef
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 3 carrots, sliced into rounds
- 1 liter of red wine
- the zest of an orange
- the zest of a lemon
- cell
- pepper
Method · 4 h 15 min
- Put all these ingredients in the red wine and let it marinate for 12 hours.
- Place the bacon pieces in a casserole dish and brown them. Set aside.
- Take each piece of meat, drain it and coat it in flour.
- Brown each piece in the casserole dish. Set aside.
- Deglaze the casserole with 1/2 glass of balsamic vinegar and scrape up all the browned bits.
- Add the meat, bacon, marinade and simmer over low heat for 4 hours.
