Bami goreng with an egg

This bami goreng with a crispy fried egg is a quick, savory meal packed with noodles, stir-fried vegetables, and sweet ketjap manis. Using a simple stir-fry technique and a splash of soy sauce, rich Asian-inspired flavors emerge that are perfect for a comfort meal or weeknight dinner.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 250 gr mie nest/noodles
  • 2 the Wokolie
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 400 gr stir-fried vegetables
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • 50 ml sweet ketjap
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 handful of finely chopped peanuts
  • a few coriander leaves
Method · 10 min
  1. Take a large bowl and place the noodles in it. Pour boiling water over them and let stand covered for 5 minutes. Then drain the noodles.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok. Fry the garlic clove and the wok vegetables. Then add the noodles, soy sauce, and sweet soy sauce. Mix everything well together.
  3. Fry four fried eggs.
  4. Divide the noodles among four small bowls. Place a fried egg in each bowl. Finish with finely chopped peanuts and coriander.
