Potato bites with smoked salmon

These potato bites with smoked salmon and guacamole are a simple, eye-catching dish full of contrasts. A perfect combination to serve as an appetizer, starter, or to create a special tapas spread.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 400g of baby potatoes
  • Water
  • Shall
  • 1 jar of guacamole
  • 200g of diced smoked salmon
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
Method
  1. We boil the potatoes with water and a teaspoon of salt.
  2. In a bowl, mix 200g of diced smoked salmon, two tablespoons of soy sauce, two tablespoons of olive oil, one tablespoon of honey, and one tablespoon of mustard. Mix well and let it rest.
  3. We prepared some muffin tins and placed them in aluminum or metal molds. We put a potato in each one and flattened them.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) with the top and bottom elements on, and place the trays of potatoes inside. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. We take the potatoes out of the oven, place a spoonful of guacamole on top, and another of salmon. We serve them cold.

The potato provides a soft and comforting base that pairs beautifully with the rich, slightly salty flavor of the smoked salmon. The guacamole adds creaminess, freshness, and that touch of avocado that makes every bite even more delicious.

Besides being delicious, these bites are very easy to prepare and have a visually appealing presentation. An ideal recipe to surprise your guests without spending too much time in the kitchen.
