Pulque and Beer Market Day of the Dead Edition: there will be pan de muerto, craft beer, mezcal and snacks this weekend

If you're looking for a different plan to kick off the Day of the Dead season, get your costume ready because a special edition of the Pulque and Beer Market is coming, featuring drinks, food, and the atmosphere of this celebration.

If you still don't know what to do this first weekend of October, tell your partner, friends or family to come to this event north of the Historic Center of Mexico City, in the Cuauhtémoc borough.

When and where will the Pulque and Beer Market be held, Day of the Dead edition?

If you don't have plans this weekend, the Pulque and Beer Market Day of the Dead edition will take place next Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th at the Tlatelolco Convention Center, located at Manuel González 171, in the San Simón Tolnahuac neighborhood.

The proposal combines artisanal drinks, Mexican food, gourmet products and options for art, design and fashion, in a schedule from 12:00 to 20:00 hours and a cost of 30 pesos per person.

During the event, you'll find a wide variety of drinks to try, from pulque and craft beer to mezcal, mead, and sotol. Sweet treats will also be available, with seasonal classics like pan de muerto and atole.

The offer aims to bring together different proposals in one space, so in addition to drinks you can browse stalls with gourmet products, charcuterie and other items to take home.

There will also be tacos, garnachas, and cochinita pibil at this 2026 edition.

And to enjoy it to the fullest, the market will have different options of Mexican snacks, including tacos, garnachas, gorditas and cochinita.

The idea is that you can spend several hours browsing the stalls, trying different dishes and pairing them with one of the drinks available during the event.

The offerings extend beyond food and drinks. This year's event will also feature gourmet products, design items, art and fashion, as well as cannabis-related products.

In this way, the tour can become a kind of gastronomic and cultural bazaar, ideal for those looking to take home a product, learn about new projects or simply spend the afternoon among stands and different proposals.

So far, the organizers haven't announced the ticket price, so it's a good idea to check their social media before you go to find out the cost, schedule, and any program updates.

So now you have an excuse to get out your costume, get together with your friends and start celebrating the Day of the Dead season with pulque, craft beer, pan de muerto, Mexican snacks and music.
