Guava Jam with Cardamom
1. Place the guavas in a pot and cover with water. Cook until soft and practically falling apart.
- 2. Blend the mixture with a blender or immersion blender. Pass the cooked and blended guavas through a sieve to remove the seeds. Return the pulp to the same pot and heat along with the cardamom and sugar.
- 3. Cook, stirring occasionally to prevent your jam from burning. Once you can see the bottom of the pot when you run a spoon through it, or the jam sticks to the spoon, it's ready.
- 4 Store in clean jars and allow to cool completely before refrigerating.
