A delicious way to use leftover dessert

Colomba and strawberry tiramisu is a perfect way to transform a classic Easter dessert. Use Colomba slices instead of ladyfingers.

If you want children to try it too, the Marsala can be replaced with milk.

Preparation time: 15′ Cooking time: –′.

INGREDIENTS (serves 6)

  • 500g of Colomba
  • 500 gr of Mascarpone
  • 300g of strawberries
  • 150 g of granulated sugar
  • 50 ml of coffee
  • 100 ml in Marsala
  • Bitter cocoa powder to taste

Dove and strawberry tiramisu, preparation:

To make this dessert, start by placing the mascarpone in a bowl and mixing it with the sugar until creamy. Add the coffee and Marsala to the mascarpone and sugar mixture and stir until the liquids are incorporated.

At this point, set aside and wash the strawberries, removing the green pith. Then cut them in half or into slices. Next, take the Colomba cake and cut it into half-centimeter thick slices. These will replace the ladyfingers, which should then be lightly moistened with Marsala to soften them.

Once all the ingredients are ready, assemble the tiramisu. Spread a layer of mascarpone cream on the bottom of a baking dish, then cover with the Colomba cake slices, then spread another layer of cream and strawberries. Alternate the ingredients until all the ingredients are used. To decorate the tiramisu, dust with bitter cocoa powder and garnish with strawberries.
