Extra quick pancakes

This recipe for unleavened extra-quick pancakes is easy to make in no time. Baking powder is enough instead of yeast, and the ingredients are listed in cups. You can decorate the finished pancakes with jam, whipped cream, or sweetened cottage cheese.

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • Dough:
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons semolina sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Further:
  • frying oil
  • For decoration:
  • jam (to taste)
  • whipped cream
  • sweetened cottage cheese
Method · 30 min
  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the milk, oil and whisk briefly. Add the sifted flour with baking powder, a pinch of salt and mix everything thoroughly into a smooth dough.
  2. Heat the oil in a pancake pan or a classic frying pan.
  3. Spoon the batter into the pan, forming pancakes. Fry the pancakes slowly until golden brown on both sides (they will brown quite a bit). You need to add oil frequently.
  4. Spread the finished pancakes with jam and decorate with whipped cream or sweetened cottage cheese and serve immediately.
