Grilled feta – simple & so delicious!
Grilled feta
Ingredients · Servings 2
- 150 g Kirschtomate
- 1 red onion
- 2-3 tablespoons black olive (pitted)
- 2 pieces of feta cheese (200 g each)
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 4 sprigs of thyme (or other herbs)
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- Pfeffer
Method · 20 min
- Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Peel and halve the onion, then slice it into thin half-rings. Drain the olives and halve or slice them into rings. Remove the feta from its packaging and let it drain on a paper towel.
- Place the feta cheese in a grilling tray (for feta parcels: one feta on one large piece of aluminum foil). Distribute the chopped vegetables, chili flakes, and thyme sprigs evenly over the feta. Drizzle with olive oil and season with pepper. If using aluminum foil, fold up the edges, but leave the parcel slightly open.
- Place the feta cheese at the edge of the hot grill and grill for 12-15 minutes, until slightly melted. Remove from the grill and serve immediately. A fresh salad or fluffy baguette goes wonderfully with it. Enjoy!
