Baked chicken thighs with pears, blue cheese and walnuts (video recipe)

Procedure

Ingredients · Servings 4 ports
  • chicken thigh, 6 pcs
  • onion, 1 pc.
  • garlic, 4-6 pcs
  • butter, 50-100 g
  • pears, 3 pcs hard
  • walnuts, Handful

  1. Slice the onion and garlic. Place them on the bottom of the baking dish and add approximately 50 g of sliced ​​butter.
  2. Season the chicken thighs thoroughly with salt and pepper. Add the thyme and massage everything well into the meat. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish.
  3. Cut the pears into wedges and arrange them around and between the chicken thighs. Add fresh herbs as you have them. Sprinkle with walnuts. Drizzle 2 tsp honey over the pears. Crumble the blue cheese and sprinkle over the chicken thighs. Pour over everything with approximately 200 ml of dry white wine.
  4. Cover the baking dish and bake for approximately 45 minutes at 160 °C. Then uncover the baking dish and bake for another 20 minutes at 180 °C. Finally, increase the temperature to 220 °C and bake for the last 5 minutes, so that the chicken is beautifully golden and the cheese is lightly browned. Serve with mashed potatoes. Enjoy.
